About Society

Grameen Pragati Shikshan Sansthe is an educational and community development society established in 2007 in Majalatti, Karnataka. Named in honor of Shri B.R. Sangappagol, the organization is dedicated to fostering education, healthcare, and rural prosperity through its network of institutions.

The society operates Shri B.R. Sangappagol College of Nursing, providing professional nursing education to meet the growing demand for skilled healthcare workers in the region. Alongside this, it runs Shri B.R. Sangappagol Kannada Medium Primary and High School, offering quality education in the regional language to strengthen foundational learning for young students. Additionally, the Shri B.R. Sangappagol Primary School focuses on early childhood education, ensuring accessibility to basic schooling for the local community.

Beyond academics, the organization also manages the Shri B.R. Sangappagol Co-Operative Bank, which plays a vital role in rural financial inclusion by offering banking services, loans, and savings programs to support farmers, small businesses, and families in Majalatti and nearby areas.
